Custom Rox!

Every once in a while I get asked to create a custom piece of jewelry.  This has included jewlery for weddings, formal events, or just because someone had an idea in their head that they would like to see come to life.


Below I am featuring my most recent Custom Rox.  For the first set I was asked by Renee Senko from Wilde and Company Chartered Accountants to design a necklace and matching earrings using three sapphire gems that she had provided for me. This offered me the challenge of first finding then mounting the gems on sterling silver settings. After this was completed I created three different styles using sterling silver chain and components for Renee to choose from. She choose a drop necklace that sits just on the collarbone and has a delicate  "montana blue" swarovski element accent with earrings to match.

Renee also provided me with  three silver flower pendants. I used these to create a necklace and earring set for Renee's teenage daughter Kendal.

Gold on Gold

For the longest time I had been a "silver jewelry only" kind of gal. Lately, I have really loved gold pieces so when I found this pendant on line I had to order it! It's strung on a gold plated chain and sits beautifully on the collarbone. A definite must have!

Despite my love of big, bold jewelry I do make sure that I take the time every once in a while to create simple, versatile pieces.  Below I am featuring two sets of earrings, one silver and one gold. They are both what I consider classic pieces that would add a subtle touch to an outfit that may be more dramatic in itself.
